On Sunday, May 18th, 2008 PSB Satellite came to our house to install two different satellite dishes. We recorded him putting up and configuring the cooler of the two, the motorized Traxis dish.

Think of LEGAL (All I deal in) FTA satellite as an addition to your TV service, although FTA satellite and off-air digital is all MANY people need. Once you buy and install a system there is nothing else to pay EVER!
There are network channels from other areas of the country, HUNDREDS of channels from oversea’s, LOADS of religious channels. But my main love are the LIVE feeds, whenever there is a Space launch or landing you can BET it’s going to be on FTA satellite, there are many many sports feeds, hockey, baseball and even football. Many folks have given up there Sunday Ticket and instead watch Football games from other areas and feeds. I LOVE the news feeds, if there is LIVE news happening anywhere News feeds pop up FTA, they remain on site broadcast before and after the main channels have moved on! We are talking LIVE helicopter chases, Disasters, stand off’s you name it. You have the BEST seat in the house with FTA satellite.

Also have a look at the http://www.visionplus.us satellite forum for much more info on the hobby. The neat thing about the TRAXIS brand of receiver is the BLIND SCAN, it scans the satellite for you adding any found channels at the end of your channel list!
Did I mention FTA satellite radio? There are also loads of FTA radio channels on these satellites.
No premium channels (Who cares!) but there is NEVER a dull moment of FTA satellite, and at night time here in the US news and sports are happening someplace else in the world! I am looking forward to searching for LIVE music festivals this weekend on FTA. Last year we had the full Lollapalooza concert, Farm Aid and so much more. If you are interested in politics like me then once again FTA satellite is great.
