Animation of the new Ares rocket carrying the Orion crew module

In 2010 the Space Shuttle retires to be replaced with the new Constellation Program. Constellation consists of the Ares I and Ares V rockets and the Orion crew module. This animation depicts what it will be like with the Ares V heavy load rocket carrying up the new lunar lander and the Ares I rocket launching Orion in to orbit to rendezvous with the lander with a safe landing on the moon.

This has to be one of the best things I’ve seen in a while,.. stunning piece of music too, and beautifully interlaced within the graphics.. Love to know who the musicians are and who wrote the music.
The NASA craft is superb of course .. 2010 will be a new landmark hopefully
    Good Luck in everything!

  4. Bencredible says:

The music was pulled directly from the original NASA piece, so alas I don’t know who wrote it.

  5. Kat says:

So awesome at the end with the footprints.
Can’t believe we have to wait so long for it tho.
    :(

I read similar article also named on of the new Ares rocket carrying the Orion crew module | Spacevidcast, and it was completely different. Personally, I agree with you more, because this article makes a little bit more sense for me

Great Animation, great music. But this is re-inventing the wheel. Other counties are talking about mining, colonilizing the moon we are sitting back patting ourselves on the back for just being able to get back to the moon in a bigger more expensive vehicle.

Congrats to NASA for thinking about another Space Vehicle System besides the Shuttle. Can’t wait to see the price tag.
