This is the second launch attempt of Armadillo Aerospace’s MOD rocket at the 2008 X PRIZE Foundation’s Northrup Grumman Lunar Lander Challenge. In order to win the challenge the rocket must fly twice within the specified time. Here is the first flight:

And here is the second flight which won Armadillo first place in the Northrup Grumman Lunar Lander Channel for Level 1.

    Thanks for the videos and especially for the amazing live-coverage of the event!

    Question: Any chance we could get the videos of some of the interviews you did as well? I’m particularly interested in the interview with John Carmack on Saturday after the Level Two attempt failure, which I unfortunately missed :( .

    Yes, we’re working on that but we need a bit of time to get the video off of the computer that is packed away. I’ll work on those when we’re back in MSP, but expect to see *all* of our interviews made available on-demand as well as the flight of Pixel on day 2.
