Thank you very much for putting this up! It’s always amazing listening to John Carmack. It’s somehow like tapping into some kind of weird well of knowledge. Sometimes you get the feeling, that it is just to much to understand for yourself, but you just want more of it! The World could probably use a few more guys (or girls of course!) like him!
Best regards from Vienna, Austria

PS: The image got completely “distorted” (very ugly pixelization, like someone set the compression WAY to high) at about 33 and a half minute into the video. Was that necessary to fit into some youtube upload-limit, or was there some problem on my side?

No, there’s a problem with the original encode… Something happened to the bitrate of the original file at around that time. I thought the information was too good to not post, so I put it up as is. Sorry, looks like I was taxing the computer just a wee bit too much.
Hey, Hey RocketFan! Just a quick shoutout for coming in the live chat room for most of two days! We loved having you there and hope to see you in our regular room too!
Wow, thanks Cariann!
I just like how the live chat gives you this kind of feeling that you are somehow (at least remotely) part of the action. Or when was the last time someone thanked you personally for watching something on TV? *hehe*
I’ll see if I can find some time to join the chat once in a while… if only my time management would be a little bit (much!) better.
Thank you again for the fantastic live coverage of the whole event,
Marcus aka RocketFan
