We interview Ken Davidian of NASA’s Centennial Challenges program at the 2008 X PRIZE Foundation’s Northrop Grumman Lunar Lander Challenge. This is a very interesting 30 minute interview that talks about the thin line between NASA and private space travel. Even NASA can benefit from private space which is where the Centennial Challenges program comes from.

    Maybe NASA can do something so that private businesses will not be allowed to clutter the Moon. Would not be better to have a CLEAN fresh start on the Moon? we already know that we blew it here on Earth…

    We have already blown it on the Moon as well. NASA is unlikely to help the situation. You may know that they have crashed a number of probes into the Moon and left a lot of things behind after the end of the Moon program.
