Cariann and I square off to see who can eat a Mini Moon Pie faster. The X PRIZE Foundation had their contest not that long ago and Mike came out ahead. After this contest it is up to NASA Edge to see who can devour a Moon Pie at lightning speeds, then we square off at ISDC ’09. Who will be the winner: The X PRIZE Foundation, Spacevidcast or NASA Edge? Oh the suspense!

    Saw this live when after the last taping! BTW, very cool that Blair (a fellow Latin enthusiast, apparently…as well as my fave [NASA Edge] co-host!) was watching the show! Does he pop in often (asked as a relative “newbie”)?

    BTW, QS should def send me some of those MoonPies as well!

      Both Chris and Blair pop in from time to time as well as other NASA folk. We have a lot of really cool people who join the live show from all walks of space from NASA to the X PRIZE Foundation, etc., etc.

    There’s a soft drink here in the South called Sun Drop. You should drink that with your Moon Pie! Though actually, in the South, the tradition is RC Cola with Moon Pie.

      I’ll have to see if I can find some Sun Drop. We do have RC Cola available here, although it was a bit hard to find. First time I had RC Cola was on an airplane and I *really* liked it. Oddly enough, back on the ground I have never liked it as much.
