This is the back half of the Elon Musk keynote presentation at the 2009 International Space Development Conference. The first half was lost due to technical problems, but we did get his video presentation put back in.

Congratulations to Elon for winning the von Braun award. If anyone deserves it it is he!
Unfortunate that you couldn’t post the whole thing, but this was great.
I’ve seen the video clip at the beginning, but it’s a nice high-def version if you haven’t seen it before.
Some interesting q&a. It’s good to hear that SpaceX is still planning on building bigger rockets in the future. I remember reading that Elon wanted to build a rocket engine comparable to the Saturn V’s F-1, but haven’t heard anything since. I’m glad that a some kind of true heavy lift vehicle is still in the plan.
Funny, I think they might have expected him to say a few words after he got their little trophy. They stage their bit of bit of pomp and ceremony, he’s just grabs the thing and walks off. Notice the guy holding the trophy is like *Shrug* ‘Oh well.’ It occurs to me that when one owns the company, such trivial accolades pale in comparison to your company itself succeeding. Nonetheless, it’s a well deserved honor. Bravo to Elon, I wish his endeavors further success in the future.
