Beer in space! – 18.08.09

Dr Andrew Walsh, an astrochemist of James Cook University, has made it his mission to bring science “down to earth”. And as any man worth his salt knows, beer fixes everything. After much “research” the Dr has identified 12 mandatory components in the most basic of beer recipes and has already found 7 of them in space!

Hi Ben and Cariann,
I am familiar with Dr. Walsh since I am finishing up my Master of Astronomy Degree in Astrophysics at JCU and he is the director of the university’s astronomy program. I’ll post a link to your video on JCU’s online bulletin board for the Pilot Research Project. I’m sure my Professor (Alex Hons) and fellow graduate students will get a laugh or two from it!
Regards,
Rick Boozer
P.S. Dr. Walsh is also one the world’s preeminent researchers in the evolution of supermassive stars.
HA! Small world. That is awesome!
OMG… I love it!!
