Thanks for providing this video! Great talk.
Hi Ben and Cariann,
I like your new look, but how does one get to your earlier archived shows? I wanted to refer someone to an old show.
If you know the name of the show you can use the search box to try and find it. Else there is a dropdown that allows you to select things like live shows, daily shows, launches, etc.
The guy makes his point in the first minute. Basically he says “Why they give money to NASA? They should be giving the money to us instead.” The rest is just useless drivel.
Well I guess you don’t get any money because the space program shouldn’t be run by the lowest bidder dammit.
Me quits at tenth minute. And no stars.
@hla27b, Yes the space program should be run by the lowest bidder. Free-market is what makes America what it is, why is space the exception?
Watch the talk.
@echo4224
Lowest bidder = least competent + no science
The money going to NASA is making science. Yes it is inefficient and it is expensive too, but taking money away from NASA and giving it to privateers will not get you science. What ‘s this guy going to do with the money he wants so badly? Sell tickets to movie stars? Why bother?
btw, I have nothing to do with NASA, I am not even American.
@hla27b
Lowest bidder is best because it is the organization that can create the technology the best and lowest price is the one that succeeds. Otherwise you have inefficient bureaucracies like NASA in the last 10 yrs.
