Nice! Excellent show guys and really good pictures from @FlyingJenny. The news segment feels a bit better and more professional when you're ignoring the chatroom mostly.

Yeah, we're playing with the format a touch to try and find the right flavor. We also had our ducks in a row when it came to the news (new rundown that allows us to easily look up stats on each news item so we don't look silly). You'll see additional tweaks over the next few weeks, some of which will stick, others won't.

Another great episode! Just a little thing about that poor little rover on Mars:
Why do you call it "Sprit"? Is it just a repeated typing error, or some kind of joke I don't get? Last time I checked it was called "Spirit" ;) Oh and btw Spirit has already two broken wheels. The right-front wheel wasn't working since 2006 (interestingly it did work to some degree during a test series some days ago) and it's right-rear wheel stopped working like a month ago.

    Other things:
*) I like the new intro more and more with every time I see it!
*) I know it's not really your stuff, but I absolutely LOVE that ISDC 2010 promotional video, it is so incredibly inspiring! I want one of those TSTOs, now! ;)

Oops, looks like the rundown had the wrong spelling of 'Spirit' which I didn't catch. Now it is forever burned in to the show. I did at least update to the show notes. Thanks for the heads up!

Lovin' the new intro. I almost want to somehow use it for my writing.

    Spirit will go on!

Oh, I'm sure you guys have good taste.

Hi, Ashlyn, Dillon and Jordan! Sorry about the spelling.

Yes, I think the I.S.S should be used a way-station for missions beyond low Earth orbit.. It should further out..

Oh funny. In post show they talked about how talking to Ben's grandmother about SpaceX would elicit a "What?". In my personal life, I recently did just that with my St. Paul-based grandmother. I had to start and go into the background of SpaceX. So I started with Elon Musk, went into his businesses and after explaining all of those, got to SpaceX.

I think that a major issue for a company like SpaceX is that that same thing happens in congress, where people are like, "SpaceX, what kind of start-up company is that? And why should we give them any money? Let's just have NASA do it directly."
