In the Spacevidcast Live 3.10 post show this last week we all had a good laugh over the idea of a ‘Space is Boring’ song. Maybe a techno beat. Something really nerdy, ya know! Between telling LCROSS to try and bomb the moon and rebooting the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter over and over again our very own VaxHeadroom decided to take us up on the challenge. The above song is the result.

The original Ignite speech that this song is based on is located over here. Certainly worth the 5 minutes. Ironically, I thin the song is longer than the original presentation. Of course if you want even more, we brought Andy on the show right after SpaceUp to talk about his presentation.

    Hehe – well the song is 5:23 and the original speech was 5:00 (that’s the way Ignite talks work). The song was by T.G.Virus for the Rebirth 338 synth simulator from Propellerheads, and I grabbed the best lines from Andy and re-told his original story.
