SpaceVidcast is a new weekly videocast that covers all things space flight related. We have a community of technology lovers, space enthusiasts, analysts, venture capitalists, engineers and consumers who are eager to make a difference in the world. While many of the SpaceVidcast audience hail from the United States we have seen a good worldwide audience ranging from Mexico, France, England, Japan, Italy and many more.

Pricing
There are two different ways to advertise on SpaceVidcast: website and video. Since we are just starting off SpaceVidcast is offering steep discounts and promotions to early adopters. Take a look at the early adopters section at the bottom of the page for discounted prices. If you believe in us while we grow the community, we’ll support you as we get larger and larger. Currently we draw about 65,000 viewers for special events such as rocket and shuttle launches and this number is growing rapidly.

Web Site Advertising
There are four locations on the homepage for you to advertise on. Two are directly above the main site navigation and directly below the featured story (tier 1) and two are directly below the navigation and above the copyright (tier 2).
Tier 1 advertising - $1,000 per month for a 300×100 pixel IAB standard ad unit
Tier 2 advertising - $500 per month for a 300×100 pixel IAB standard ad unit

We also offer premium sponsorship options. If you would like to buy an entire tier banner with a single 728×90 pixel IAB standard ad unit that will cost $2,000 per month for tier 1 and $1,000 per month for tier 2.

There is a minimum term of two months, followed by a month-to-month plan where either party may terminate the relationship on 30 days notice.

Videocast Advertising
SpaceVidcast produces a live videocast every week which is also made available on-demand and pushed to over 20 different video sharing sites and social networks. Advertising is for the life of the videocast. Your ads will be burned in to the video live and made available across all versions of the video including but not limited to flash, iPod, iPhone and AppleTV downloads. There are three available advertising opportunities inside of each standard show:
News Sponsorship - $250.00 per episode. No ad will run, but your name will appear in the news open with a ’sponsored by’ tag and you will be mentioned as the sponsor
Segment 1 - $3,000 will allow you to run up to a 30 second commercial as well as have your logo appear during the entire segment on the top of the screen. Typically segment 1 runs about 5 minutes and is directly after the show open.
Segment 2 - $1,750 will allow you to run up to a 30 second commercial as well as have your logo appear during the entire segment at the top of the screen. Typically segment 2 runs around 5 minutes and is after segment 1.

You also have the option of buying exclusive sponsorship of an entire show. All ads and logos will be branded to you. The cost for exclusive sponsorship is $5,000.

Packages
By packaging both web advertising and videocast advertising you can get additional discounts. Please contact benjamin@spacevidcast.com to put together a package that will work for you.

Early Adopters
SpaceVidcast is only a few weeks old and still growing the community. We realize that there is risk involved in advertising on a new podcast. Currently new advertisers will receive 50% off of all of their ads until we reach 200,000 regular viewers of each show which will be the equivalent of a $15.00 CPM at full price for the $3,000 ad. Once we reach the 200,000 viewer mark we will allow you an additional 2 month grace period to decide what to do and since you believed in us at the beginning, additional and permanent savings of 15% over list price will be applied to all future orders.

Price Changes
In order to keep the community growing the pricing here may be adjusted as growth continues to maintain a proper CPM rate. Price modifications will be given with 30 days advance notice.
